This spring the Knippa ISD has embraced a Knippa Cares Initiative. This initiative is an overarching umbrella that encompasses serving our families who have experienced difficulty (illness, lose, etc.), creating and embracing opportunities for our students to volunteer in our community, and promoting a partnership with the Bluebonnet CASA program.

This month, our students have been decorating/designing cardboard cutout kids for what is about to be April - Child Abuse Awareness Month. These cardboard cutouts (70+) have been completed by Knippa students/classes. If you or your business would like to sponsor one of these cardboard cutouts, please visit with Mrs. Romo in the office before Friday, March 31. The cost for sponsorship is $20 and these cardboard cutout kids are meant to be displayed throughout our community in an effort to heighten awareness and put the interests of kids first.

All the proceeds gained from this artwork will be turned over to Bluebonnet CASA in order to assist in serving the very kiddos who need our support the most. We appreciate your consideration of sponsoring one of these kids in your home or business. Your contributions and support of the KISD allow this institution to operate as the premier district in Texas.
