Kloe Martinez began attending Knippa in eighth grade, making this her fifth year as a Rockcrusher. A funny experience that Kloe remembers happened in her Ag-Vet Med class when Mr. Stichler, substitute teacher, brought in a live chicken. It was not something that she was expecting. Kloe will miss the half days which she enjoyed. She will also miss the occasional "Free days" when the class was able to play games or watch movies. However, what Kloe thinks she will miss the most is "not having to worry about anything other than schoolwork and wardrobe." While at Knippa, Kloe competed on the first volleyball team in school history during her freshman year. She was also a member of the first cheerleading team in recent school history her senior year. she has competed in team tennis three years and has advanced to state in team tennis three years. She will receive her Associate of Arts degree from SWTJC in May. The advice the Kloe has for younger students is, "Don't work too hard and save some time for friends, family, and other activities you enjoy. It's good to have a social life and have fun being a kid. Upon graduation, Kloe plans to receive a BA at a 4-year university. She is considering continuing  on for a master's degree upon completion of her BA. Kloe is the daughter of Kathryn Bendele and Jerry Martinez. Good job, Kloe, and good luck as you pursue your goals.
