Andrew Johnson

I started at Knippa at the end of the second semester of 10th grade, so I’ve been here about two years. Some activities that I have been involved with are cross-country, basketball, tennis, golf, and FFA.  An accomplishment of mine was being awarded most improved in tennis.I enjoyed the food and the homework here at Knippa.  When I graduate, I will miss the people. My plans are to attend Blinn College in either Bryan or Brenham.  I will then transfer to Texas A&M University and major in biology.  After that, I will go to medical school. My advice to younger students is to get involved with everything possible, stay on top of grades, and strive to be the best.

I have been a student at Knippa for 14 years; I started here in pre-k. I have been involved in basketball, tennis, yearbook, and cross-country.  Some of my accomplishments are making it to regionals in cross-country two years in a row, making it to state cross-country this year, and making it to state team tennis during freshman and junior years. My fondest memory would be graduating from junior high with my best friends and with my brother graduating from high school at the same time.  When I graduate from Knippa, I will miss the teachers and my friends. I plan to attend Sam Houston State University and major in either criminal justice or nursing. My advice to younger students is to have fun while you can.  Make good friends; try your hardest; play sports, and get your G.P.A. up as high as you can, so you will be prepared for college. I’d like to thank the staff members and my mom for making me who I am today.  I’d also like to thank all of my friends who have stuck by me all of the years.
