School Breakfast Week March 2nd - 6th

The Knippa ISD cafeteria is excited to celebrate School Breakfast Week from

March 2-6. We serve a healthy breakfast daily from 7:15-7:45 a.m. that includes:

  • Whole grain muffins, biscuits, pancakes, tortillas, and cereals.

  • Fresh fruit assortment

  • Fat free flavored milk and 1% white milk

  • Variety of 100% fruit juice

We want to encourage all of our students to eat a healthy breakfast everyday so they will be ready to learn. Students who eat breakfast have increased focus, improved mood, more energy and a healthier immune system.

We will be giving away small prizes to students who eat a school breakfast next week. We have provided the menu for next week on the back.

MONDAY Whole grain French toast sticks, low fat yogurt, whole grain cereals, 100% juice, fresh fruit assortment and low fat or fat free milk choices

TUESDAY Turkey bacon and egg taco on whole grain tortilla, whole grain cereals, 100% juice, fresh fruit assortment and low fat or fat free milk choices

WEDNESDAY Fruit and yogurt parfait with granola, whole grain cereals, 100% juice, fresh fruit assortment and low fat or fat free milk choices

THURSDAY Scrambled eggs and whole grain toast, low fat cheese stick, whole grain cereals, 100% juice, fresh fruit assortment and low fat or fat free milk choices

FRIDAY School holiday. Enjoy a healthy breakfast with your children at home!
