Food Science & Tech Class 

This week, Knippa’s Food Science & Tech class is making salsa; there are four groups, and each group must find its own salsa recipe. Mr. Urrabazo, the FFA adviser, got the ingredients each group requested. Each group must follow all of the instructions and make a can of salsa themselves. They have prepared mason jars to store the salsa so it will last longer. The jars are prepared by wiping the tops with vinegar, then they fill and seal them. Each student will take a jar home and the Knippa staff will have a chance to taste test the various salsas.
