Unity Day is an annual event and it's celebrated on the third or fourth Wednesday of October. It is an event of National Bullying Prevention, it encourages people to wear orange to show their support for kindness, acceptance, inclusion, and to stand together against bullying. Dual credit biology students did a lab to learn about enzymes. They practiced using different lab tools and steps while testing how enzymes work in the human body. The lab showed that enzymes can do many different jobs, and the students got more practice with science experiments. Read more...

The FFA spent a little over 12 hours prepping the brisket and the pit. They used a classic Salt and Pepper rub on the brisket, with an HEB brisket rub to add a hint of spice. The FFA used a native Mesquite wood for the fire. Read more...
