South Texas Blood & Tissue

Monday, October 12, the South Texas Blood & Tissue donation bus rolled onto the Knippa ISD campus, transforming a typical morning into a life-saving mission for our students. Between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, eligible Crushers boldly stepped up, conquered their fear of needles, and rolled up their sleeves to make an impact. High school student donors are the true backbone of our regional blood supply, making up 22% of South Texas Blood & Tissue's annual collections. The Knippa students received a South Texas Blood & Tissue zip-up hoodie for their donations by participating, our students directly helped with the  critical local blood bank knowing that just one single donation has the incredible power to save up to three lives. We want to thank The South Texas Blood & Tissue organization for coming and letting our Knippa Family donate to help others.
