Home / District News / Annual Unity Day
Unity Day is an annual event and it's celebrated on the third or fourth Wednesday of October. It is an event of National Bullying Prevention, it encourages people to wear orange to show their support for kindness, acceptance, inclusion, and to stand together against bullying. It can sometimes also create a message for students who have been affected and empower others to speak up. The goal of this day is to help build a safe and supportive environment for everyone. To show your support you can walk/run one mile to show your commitment to creating safe, and inclusive schools and communities. You can also make a difference by doing something as simple as showing an act of kindness to someone at school or even a stranger.
