Mrs. Rebecca Ortiz

Mrs. Rebecca Ortiz has been teaching for 15 years and this marks her 3rd year teaching in Knippa. This summer she moved from the portables on campus to the second floor of the main building. Ortiz teaches English II, III, IV, AP Literature, and EDUC 1300. In her opinion the least pleasing thing about being in her new classroom is how quiet it is upstairs. Her most favorite thing about being in the new classroom is the view from upstairs and the tall ceilings. Her least favorite thing about her old classroom was standing outside the classroom when it was hot, cold or rainy. Ortiz said she misses being close to her awesome team of teachers in the portables but will not miss standing outside of her classroom door when it’s hot, cold or rainy.
