World Geography Karaoke

This week both of Mr. Alejandro’s world geography classes engaged in an exciting activity that had to do with aspects of culture, and how languages shape those varying cultures. Students worked in small groups for two days to translate Mr. Alejandro’s favorite song, “Don’t Stop Believin” into a European language of their choice other than English. After doing this the students performed the song karaoke style, which they enjoyed. Mr. Alejandro says that the students did a fantastic job, and that their enthusiasm and creativity was refreshing to see.
