KISD participates in the T-Mobile $1,000,000 Sweepstakes Competition

KISD has officially entered a sweepstakes competition, with the possibility to win $1,000,000. The T-Mobile competition takes place between July 17 and October 30. The idea is to get small communities engaged in their schools' Football teams. Social Media users on Twitter and Instagram should tag @TMobile and use #FN5GL and #Sweepstakes while showcasing their school spirit. Each week, during an event called 5K Fridays, 450 schools across the nation will be selected to receive $5000. Uvalde High School, Del Rio High School, and Hondo High School have all received this prize as of 8/27.

Additionally, the event promoted by Patrick Mahomes and Rob Gronkowski, will select 25 schools to move on to the finals. Those top 25 schools will then receive $25,000 and will be put up for vote by the public. The winning school will receive a $1,000,000 Home Field Upgrade, School wide tailgate party, a Gronk Fitness weight room makeover, and an all expenses paid trip to the SEC Championship.
